One of the reasons LSR Support was set up was to help maintain the longevity and production of a variety of plants throughout the UK and ROI. At our inception, all LSR employees were directly involved in providing the Technical/Mechanical and Electrical support for a previous Biogas Technology provider and were asked by these plant owners/funders to establish a business to continue these services.

Since then, we have added many other plants to our portfolio and sustained the prior business we had when starting this venture. We also saw an opportunity to enhance these services for the plant, which would help provide less downtime and more uptime, resulting in a higher output and more revenue for the plant. We did this by offering a tiered package of Planned Preventative Maintenance packages and forming a supply chain with various manufacturers to hold on-the-shelf stock with our unique G-Smart Stocking System.

At LSR Support, we understand that each plant has a unique budget and different onsite resources. Our service packages are designed to accommodate these differences, offering the client the flexibility to choose the services they wish to avail of. Whether it’s Technical support, a combined package of Tech/Mech and Elect support, or a monthly/bi-monthly or quarterly visit, we value your needs and strive to meet them.

With most insurance companies now demanding that plants are maintained and documented, these packages have proven to be a resounding success, significantly improving plant production with reduced downtime. Our proactive approach, when budgeted correctly, ensures that the plant operations benefit greatly. In fact, on various plants that have since moved to a PPM schedule, the output of the plant has increased in some cases by a further 5-15%, reassuring the effectiveness of our services.

LSR Support has been an M&E specialist contract to Lowrys Engineering on the Framework JI173 Base maintenance contract.
This has been a very successful partnership, and we have supplied various M&E services throughout this contract. We look forward to further work and projects with LBCE.
During this contract, we have replaced Tanks/Plant Equipment and various Instruments. Whether redundant equipment was removed or an existing asset was replaced, this has all been achieved while the plant remained in full operation to maintain the water supply in the surrounding area.

LSR Support has provided support to a variety of Biogas plants since its inception. These Plants are now moving on in years and are now at a stage where some of the equipment has reached its operational lifespan. One of these areas is the feeding equipment, which is a critical part of any successful biogas plant as it introduces the feedstock required to produce the Biogas.
We have removed the existing feedstock equipment and designed/installed and commissioned new feed systems. We have done this while maintaining the integrity and full operations of the plant to ensure that the plant remains at full output throughout this process.

LSR tendered and won the Farm Scale Research Plant completion at Teagasc Agricultural Plant in Grange ROI. This plant will showcase the benefits of Biogas and Anaerobic Digestion to the agricultural community in ROI.

LSR Support Designed/Built, and Commissioned this plant, which produces Biogas. When completed, it will convert Biogas to Biomethane using an on-site upgrader, which will then be transferred to the local Gas Networks Ireland inject point.

It will also showcase various technologies throughout its lifespan, from CO2 capture to Nutrient Recovery from its digestate, which is the by-product of a Biogas Plant.
